Former Pak premier Nawaz Sharif arrives in Lahore to address massive rally after returning home

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has returned to Lahore after a four-year exile in the UK. He arrived on a chartered plane from Dubai and completed legal formalities at the airport, then flew to Lahore on the same plane. He will address a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, the site where the All-India Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution on March 23, 1940 - the first official call for a separate and independent homeland for the Muslims of British India.
