Israel-Hamas conflict: Jordan's Queen Rania slams western world over 'glaring double standards'

Queen Rania of Jordan condemned the western world's reaction to the Hamas attack on Israel as against Israel's attack on Palestinians, calling it a “glaring double standard”. Rania stated in a CNN interview that the people of Jordan and the Middle East were "shocked" to discover that the world vehemently denounced the cruel Hamas attack but is still standing by as a humanitarian crisis plays out in real-time in Gaza. “Are we being told that it is wrong to kill a family, an entire family, at gunpoint, but it’s OK to shell them to death?” Rania asked.
