Thursday, 26 October 2023 Robert Card, a firearms instructor and Army Reservist, is the primary suspect in a mass shooting incident in Lewiston, Maine. At least 22 people were killed in separate shooting incidents at a restaurant and a bowling alley. Card has a history of mental health issues, including hearing voices and making threats towards the military training base where he was stationed. Card is currently on the run and considered a significant threat to public safety.
Weeks before Robert Card went on a shooting spree in Lewiston, Maine, the US Army requested a wellness check due to concerns about his behavior. Veuer’s Matt Hoffman has the story.
