Street life returns in Maine after mass shooter found dead

The suspect in the mass shooting in Lewiston, Robert Card, was found dead in a trailer at a recycling center. His body was discovered after multiple searches of the center. Card died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His family had cooperated with investigators and provided his name after surveillance pictures were released. The motive for the shooting is still unknown. The city of Lewiston is slowly returning to normal after the incident. Maine Governor Janet Mills expressed relief at Card no longer being a threat, and President Joe Biden called for action on gun violence.
