'Lebanon doing its best not to get involved...': Envoy calls for 'peaceful solution' to West Asia conflict
Sunday, 29 October 2023 The Lebanese Ambassador to India, Rabie Narsh, has called for a peaceful solution to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in West Asia. He emphasized that a two-state solution is the only way to resolve the crisis and expressed concern over the volatile situation in Lebanon. The ambassador also stated that Lebanon is doing its best to avoid getting involved in the conflict, despite the possibility of escalation. He mentioned that Iran does not want to be involved in the conflict, and commended India for its peacekeeping presence in Lebanon.
