Palestinian Red Crescent condemns Israeli strike on Gaza ambulance convoy

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has condemned the targeting of ambulances in Gaza by Israeli forces. The attack resulted in 15 deaths and over 60 injuries. The PRCS called it a grave violation of the Geneva Conventions and a war crime. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also expressed horror at the attack and called for the conflict to stop. Israel's military claimed to have targeted an ambulance used by Hamas fighters. The attack has left hospitals in Gaza severely strained, with a shortage of fuel and damaged facilities.
