Haley and Ramaswamy show the rising political power of Indian Americans even as they feud in debates

While they represent the growing political influence of Americans of Indian descent, they are out of sync with the broader Indian American community, which overwhelmingly supports Democrats. However, even marginal gains among Indian Americans could be significant in closely contested states. Researchers believe that Indian Americans are now well placed to produce conservative thinkers and political aspirants.
