UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak presented his government's agenda to tackle crime, boost economic growth, and address climate change. The agenda, delivered by King Charles to lawmakers in parliament, aims to differentiate the ruling Conservative Party from the opposition Labour Party ahead of the expected election next year. The government plans to toughen sentences for violent offenders, reduce the burden of climate targets on households, and prioritize long-term decision-making.
