Astronauts drop toolbox during space walk - and you could see it from Earth
Sunday, 12 November 2023 NASA astronauts accidentally dropped their toolbox during a walk around the International Space Station - and the floating kit could be visible from Earth.
Blast off and spend 24 hours in space with the astronauts who completed NASA's first ever all-female spacewalk! Christina Koch and Jessica Meir share an intimate look at their out-of-this-world routine on the International Space Station, revealing their health and hygiene habits, their daily...

NASA Reestablishes , Connection With Distant , Voyager 1 Space Probe.
The news comes after engineers at
the agency worked for months
attempting to fix the 46-year-old probe.
In December, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)
said that the probe, now a staggering 15 billion miles
away from Earth, was transmitting gibberish code. .
On April 23, the JPL announced that
the team was once again receiving
usable data from the spacecraft.
Currently, the probe is only
transmitting data regarding the status
of the ship's engineering systems.
The next step is to enable
the spacecraft to begin
returning science data again, JPL statement, via 'The Guardian'.
'The Guardian' reports that Voyager 1 has been in
operation for nearly half a century after launching
in 1977 with the goal of studying Jupiter and Saturn.
In August of 2012, Voyager crossed into
interstellar space, becoming the first
human-made object to leave the solar system.
The probe is currently traveling at a staggering
36,800 miles per hour through space.
NASA plans to collect data from the two
Voyager spacecraft for a few more years,
but the space agency expects to lose
contact with the probes within the next decade

On April 8th, millions across North America beheld the extraordinary spectacle of a rare total solar eclipse. The transformation of a vibrant sunny day into a grayscale panorama reminiscent of scenes from a dystopian narrative captivated observers, etching a mesmerising memory that will endure for years. Meanwhile, NASA treated the world to captivating images offering a celestial perspective of the solar eclipse from outer space. On Monday, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) generously shared footage and images capturing the breathtaking total solar eclipse. The mesmerising video showcases the eclipse unfolding over the Earth's horizon, revealing a striking transformation where a portion of our planet appears engulfed in darkness during this celestial phenomenon.

On Saturday, a Russian Soyuz rocket successfully launched three astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), overcoming a setback that had led to the last-minute abort of its previous launch two days prior. NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, and Marina Vasilevskaya of Belarus embarked on their journey from the Russian-leased Baikonur launch facility in Kazakhstan, marking a smooth and triumphant lift-off.
