Kyiv and Moscow hit by overnight drone attacks

IndiaTimes Sunday, 19 November 2023
Opposing drone attacks targeted both Kyiv and Moscow overnight, but were largely intercepted by anti-aircraft defenses, resulting in no casualties. The Russian defense ministry claimed that an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using a drone against Russian facilities was thwarted. Kyiv was also targeted for a second night by Iranian-made drones launched by Russian forces, with 15 out of 20 drones being destroyed. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy expects Russia to intensify attacks on the country's energy system in the coming winter.
