Putin to test world's largest ballistic missile over South Pole

IndiaTimes Monday, 20 November 2023
Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to test the world's largest ballistic missile, called Satan 2, by launching it over the South Pole. The missile, weighing 208 tonnes and as big as a 14-story tower block, travels at 15,880 miles per hour. The first regiment armed with this intercontinental nuclear missile is expected to be put on combat duty next month. However, the Sarmat missile tests are running behind schedule, with only one confirmed successful test so far.
