Germany's defense minister visits Kyiv, vows more aid for Ukraine

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 21 November 2023
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius visited Ukraine to show support in their war against Russia. This follows a visit by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who pledged American support and additional weapons. The visits aim to keep the war in the public mind as other conflicts, such as the Israel-Hamas conflict, gain attention. Pistorius aims to assess the effectiveness of German aid and express solidarity with Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles, causing damage but no reported casualties.
