Thousands led by Cuba's president march in Havana in solidarity with Palestinian people
Friday, 24 November 2023 Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, accompanied by Cuban's main leaders, marched in solidarity with the Palestinian people, demanding an end to the Israel-Hamas war. The march took place along Havana's boardwalk, passing in front of the U.S. Embassy. Palestinian medical students in Cuba joined the rally. The protesters called for a ceasefire and the freedom of Palestine. This is the second time Cuba's top leaders have participated in such solidarity rallies.
