Violence erupts at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf convention, workers clash with police

A clash between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and police occurred in Upper Dir district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during a party convention. The district administration had blocked roads leading to the convention site, resulting in confrontations between the two groups. PTI workers pelted stones at the police officers, and in the midst of the clash, a PTI worker and a policeman sustained bullet injuries. PTI's Omar Ayub Khan accused the police of firing on the workers.
