A petition has been filed in Pakistan's Supreme Court seeking the removal of President Arif Alvi for misconduct and failure to maintain impartiality in performing his duties. The petitioner alleges that the president has violated the constitution and committed gross misconduct. They argue that he should not continue as president because he has been misusing his powers and violating the constitution by favoring the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
