This change coincides with the President's recent acknowledgment of his seventh grandchild for the first time. Notably absent from the State Dining Room's fireplace were the stockings, replaced instead by garland and toy soldier robots, as reported by The New York Post. Navy Joan Roberts, President Biden's seventh grandchild, was not featured in the stocking displays for the years 2021 and 2022, unlike Hunter's other children.
