North Korea spy satellite operator to report findings to military
Sunday, 3 December 2023 North Korea's newly launched spy satellite, Malligyong-1, is being operated by an independent military intelligence organization, according to the Korean Central News Agency. The satellite is said to provide images of major US and South Korean military sites, although none have been disclosed yet. The newly formed reconnaissance satellite operation office started its mission on December 2 and will report acquired information to the reconnaissance bureau at the army and other major units.
