US, South Korea, Japan to step up actions on North Korea cyber threats

US, South Korea, and Japan have agreed on new initiatives to address North Korea's threats in cyberspace, targeting cryptocurrency abuses and space launches. The national security advisers of the three countries met in Seoul, building on commitments made at a Camp David trilateral summit in August. The coordinated efforts will focus on countering cybercrime, cryptocurrency money laundering, and North Korea's space and ballistic missile tests. The nations also discussed economic coercion threats and collaborated on critical technologies.
