To beat Trump, Nikki Haley tries to expand coalition, and fast

To expand her coalition and have a shot at beating Trump in the 2024 Republican nominating contest, Nikki Haley must attract more voters from rural areas, the middle- or working-class, and those without college degrees. She has been campaigning in Trump-friendly territory in Iowa and launched a "Farmers for Nikki" coalition. Haley grew up in a small South Carolina town similar to rural areas in Iowa, and she has highlighted the shortcomings in the healthcare system for rural Americans.
