UN urges rescue of 185 Rohingya adrift in Indian Ocean

The United Nations urgently calls for the rescue of 185 people, including Rohingya refugees, on a distressed boat near the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Indian Ocean. The boat carries mainly women and children, with around 70 children and 88 women on board. One person has already died, and several others are in critical condition. The UNHCR appeals to coastal authorities to rescue them and emphasizes the need for search and rescue efforts to prevent further human disasters.
