Oakland, California, officer killed while answering burglary call; shooter being sought, police say

An Oakland police officer, Tuan Le, was shot and killed while responding to a burglary at a marijuana dispensary in California. Le was one of several officers who arrived at the scene and encountered individuals leaving the business. One of the suspects opened fire, hitting Le, who was in plainclothes and driving an unmarked car. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Le succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred after a previous burglary had been reported at the same location. No arrests have been made, but investigators are following up on evidence.
