US says Houthis launched missiles at tanker ship but no damage caused

The Iran-backed Houthi militia fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles at a US-owned tanker ship late Thursday, hitting the ocean nearby but causing no injuries or damage, according to the US Navy. The Houthis, who dictate the majority of Yemen, claimed responsibility for the strike early, saying they employed naval missiles to target the ship Chem Ranger, resulting in "direct hits."
