What’s next after Trump was denied immunity from criminal charges

The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit upheld the notion that the former president Donald Trump holds no legal immunity distinct from any other citizen. However, the decision is temporarily on hold until February 12, allowing Trump time to seek further appeal to the US Supreme Court or request a full rehearing by the DC Circuit, though neither court is obligated to accept his appeal.
