Maldives at 'high risk' of external, overall debt distress, says IMF

Negotiations are taking place for the withdrawal of Indian troops stationed in the Maldives. The first phase of the withdrawal is scheduled before March 10, 2024, and the remaining troops will be withdrawn before May 10, 2024. The high-level core group between the Maldives and India is holding meetings to discuss this matter.
