Saturday, 10 February 2024 Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to plan the evacuation of the population from Rafah, a southern Gaza city. The majority of the residents are evacuees from other parts of Gaza. As the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) progress south into Gaza, many Palestinians sought safety in Rafah. However, the border into Egypt has been closed, leaving their next destination uncertain.
