Fire in island camp injures eight Rohingya refugees

Eight Rohingya refugees, including five children, were injured in a fire caused by a gas leak at a camp on Bhasan Char island. They were sent to a government hospital in Noakhali district. The government has dismissed safety concerns over the island, citing the construction of flood defences, housing, hospitals, and cyclone centres.
