Accused Pentagon leaker pleads guilty, faces almost 17 years jail

The US airman, accused of releasing a significant collection of highly classified Pentagon documents online, entered a guilty plea in federal court on Monday. As part of a negotiated agreement, he agreed to a sentence of approximately 17 years in prison, and in exchange, prosecutors agreed to drop the more severe espionage charges.
