Shapps abandoned Ukraine port visit over Russian missile threat
Sunday, 17 March 2024 Grant Shapps was forced to abandon a visit to a port city in Ukraine after British intelligence warned of a credible missile threat from Russia.
A Russian ballistic missile attack hit a residential area in Ukraine's Black Sea port city of Odesa on Friday (March 15), killing at least 20 people and wounding more than 70, in Moscow's deadliest attack in weeks, Ukrainian officials said. Olivia Zollino reports.

Russia intercepted 68 Ukrainian drones overnight from Friday to Saturday in its southern Krasnodar region and over annexed Crimea, the defence ministry announced on Saturday (Apr 27). The ministry said 66 of the drones were shot down over Krasnodar and the other two over the Crimean peninsula.
