Russia warns France: Deployment of troops to Ukraine could spell disaster
Thursday, 4 April 2024 In a rare communication, Russian defense minister Sergey Shoigu cautioned France's Sebastien Lecornu about the potential consequences of deploying soldiers to Ukraine. This warning, the first exchange between the defense chiefs since October 2022, highlighted the risks for France if it chooses to escalate military involvement in Ukraine.
