Kate Bowman, who's father was killed last December during the attack, sketched messages of peace and love on the sidewalk outside a local mosque. The 15-year-old Lutheran etched her messages of unity in an effort to overcome hate speech. She stated what angered her most after the deadly shooting, was the amount of hate speech going on.
