The New York Film Critics Circle has picked 'La La Land' as its Best Picture of 2016. The musical stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. The actors play artists who meet and fall in love in a dream-like Los Angeles. The movie has a 97 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 90 on Metacritic. “Manchester by the Sea" picked up a few awards as well, including Best Actor for Casey Affleck and Best Screenplay.
