The Ukrainian government has been accused by a top Russian official of undermining Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Trashing the President-Elect on social media and disseminating dirt on one of his close associates are the charges.
on Thursday a spokeswoman for Russia’s Foreign Ministry contended that, over the summer, the Ukrainian government damaged Trump’s campaign.
In November Donald Trump was elected 45th President of the United States.
Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing, “Ukraine seriously complicated the work of Trump’s election campaign headquarters by planting information according to which Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign chairman, allegedly accepted money from Ukrainian oligarchs."
