News video: Newest Internet Craze: #TrumpGoldenShowerForget the Mannequin Challenge- that is so 2016. The newest craze taking the internet by storm is #TrumpGoldenShower. Yes, 2017 is getting a roaring start with claims that united states president elect donald trump did some - compromising sexual things in moscow and that russia will hold it over his head for blackmail. The claim was leaked last night by buzz feed who published the damning document. Now Donald trump responded right away with a string of tweets denying the accusations of course. He wrote Fake news, a total political witch hunt. Then this morning he further denied the claims writing on twitter, Russia just said the unverified report paid for by political opponents is wrote a complete and total fabrication, utter nonsense. Very unfair. Ok, let's get real for a second. The claims have not yet been proven true, or fake for that matter - and either way this is a very serious accusation with very real political implications. Russia blackmailing the president of the united states is no joke.Twitter however didn't care and got straight to golden showers responses and memes. Here's a few of our favorites featuring some familiar celebrity faces. Like this one with a stunned Kris jenner. Me: I hate drama. News: Russians blackmailed Trump with golden shower sex tape. Me. Then there was this photo of donald trump and kanye west - tweeted out by Chelsea Handler no less. Kanye's new hair makes a lot for sense now. And the play on Beyonce's Lemonade with the president elect - Hot lemonade. But perhaps the best came from Donald Trump himself - a quote he made years ago that all of a sudden has new meaning. I never miss a golden opportunity. neither should you. Now, celebrities largely stead out of the golden shower drama last night on twitter and instead showed love for the outgoing president, Barack Obama, who coincidentally gave his farewell address last night during the twitter storm. Ellen Degeneres tweeted this. Barack Obama, i love you more than I have space on twitter to describe. #obamafarewell. Kerry Washington tweeted, Yes we can. and Mariah Shriver wrote, so glad I voted for this man. so glad I witnessed this leader, husband and father. What do you think of the golden shower scandal, and are you finding the responses funny? let me know in the comment section below.
