Duration: 00:47s - Published: < > Embed
News video: Bridges Are Key to Western Mosul for Iraqi CoalitionThe northern Iraqi city of Mosul is split by the Tigris river running north to south. Since Iraqi coalition forces entered the city in October in a campaign against the Islamic State, operations on the ground have stuck to the city's eastern districts. Now they have reached the river and are preparing to cross into the city's western side. But first, five bridges, purposefully destroyed to cut supply lines for the militant group, have to be forded.
