On Friday, Chief Executive Officer of Lockheed Martin, Marillyn Hewson, said the corporation is close to a deal to considerably lower the cost of its F-35 aircraft. This report followed a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. While speaking to reporters in Trump Tower, Hewson added that Lockheed plans to add 1,800 jobs at its Fort Worth, Texas, facility which would add, quote, "thousands and thousands of jobs" across the supply chain in 45 U.S. states.
