Police said that the FIR was registered for allegedly outraging religious feelings.
The FIR against that DMK leader and the Karnataka Minister was filed in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur after a complaint from advocates.
The police said that Stalin was booked for his call to eradicate Sanatana Dharma and Kharge for backing his remark.
