Russia has hit out at French President Emmanuel Macron for urging an international coalition to fight Hamas.
Russia said that such a move would only escalate the tensions and may force other parties to be involved in the conflict.
This comes after Macron, during his trip to Israel, equated Hamas with ISIS and called for an international coalition to fight the Palestinian group.
