Subrata Roy, the founder and chairperson of the Sahara India Pariwar, died at the age of 75 in Mumbai on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.

Roy suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai.
