Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may be reuniting, for a new film that is.
The actress, who was married to the Oscar-winning filmmaker for 13 years, is in negotiations to star opposite Matt Damon in 'Animals,' a crime thriller set up at Netflix which is being directed by Affleck.
Affleck and Damon are co-producing the feature via their Artists Equity banner.
Garnerâs deal is still being worked out, but if it all the pieces fall into place, the thriller could start filming in Los Angeles starting March.

Netflix released a Q1 earnings report on April 18, indicating that its number of subscribers jumped 16% year-over-year to reach 269.6 million.
Analysts only expected the streamer to have about 264.2 million subscribers, CNBC reports. .
The company also brought in $9.37 billion in revenue versus analysts' expectations of $9.28 billion. .
However, Netflix said that its membership numbers are no longer the main factor contributing to the company's growth.
As a result, the company will stop providing "quarterly membership numbers or average revenue per user" beginning in 2025, CNBC reports. .
Instead, it will divulge "major subscriber milestones as we cross them.".
Price hikes, terminating password sharing
and offering an ad-supported tier are all tactics that have boosted revenue.
Netflix is also seeking to gain traction within the video game space and recently partnered with TKO Group Holdings to offer WWE on the platform.

Get ready to return to Middle-earth this summer. 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy is headed back to theaters. Warner Bros. and Fathom Events are teaming up to rerelease the Oscar-winning fantasy blockbusters. The versions screened will be Peter Jackson's extended editions, as well as the versions that the filmmaker remastered in 2020 for a 4K Ultra HD rerelease. New York's Court of Appeals
overturned the movie mogul's 2020 rape conviction by a vote of 4-3 on April 25.
According to the appeals court, trial judge James Burke "prejudiced Weinstein with 'egregious' improper rulings," AP reports. .
For example, he let women bring forth allegations against Weinstein that he wasn't charged with.
The action was an "abuse of judicial discretion," the appeals court said. .

Although this conviction has been overturned, the 72-year-old will remain in prison due to a separate 2022 rape conviction in Los Angeles.
