The Election Commission of India has announced the 2024 Lok Sabha elections schedule, with voting set to begin on April 19 and results to be declared on June 4, 2024.
The elections will be conducted in seven phases spread over 44 days.
The term of the 17th Lok Sabha assembly will expire on June 16, 2024.

On April 28, the Election Commission of India (ECI) directed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to revise the content of its Lok Sabha campaign song to adhere to the Advertising Codes outlined in the Cable Television Network Rules, 1994, and ECI guidelines.
