WATCH: Pentagon Holds Press Briefing As Israel Continues Rafah Operation
Pentagon is holding a press briefing as Israel continues its Rafah operation.
This comes as Israeli forces seized the Gaza side of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, pressing their offensive into the southern city.
Israel says Rafah is Hamasā last stronghold, however the United States opposes a full-scale invasion of the city without a ācredibleā plan for protecting civilians.
Rafah is currently filled with more than a million displaced civilians huddling in tents and overcrowded apartments.
