The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Thursday that troops from the 98th Division had successfully dismantled and destroyed a network of terror tunnels in Jabalia, Gaza. These tunnels contained the bodies of hostages killed during the October 7 attacks by Hamas.
In recent weeks, the IDF has recovered multiple bodies from Hamas's extensive network of terror tunnels throughout the Gaza Strip. The latest operation resulted in the rescue and recovery of seven hostages, identified as Shani Louk, Amit Buskila, Ron Benjamin, Yitzchak Gelernter, Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez. Tragically, it was confirmed that all seven individuals had been killed on October 7, and their bodies had subsequently been abducted by Hamas.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Wednesday the deaths of three soldiers during fighting in Gaza the previous day, as major military operations continued in Rafah in the southern Strip and Jabaliya in the north. The fallen soldiers were identified as Staff Sgt. Amir Galilove, 20, from Shimshit, Staff Sgt. Uri Bar Or, 21, from Midreshet Ben-Gurion, and Staff Sgt. Ido Appel, 21, from Tzofar. According to an initial IDF investigation, the three were killed by an explosion in a booby-trapped building in Rafah. All three served in the Nahal Brigade’s 50th Battalion
