Angela Merkel accuses US of running trade surplus if trade calculations are updated
Wednesday, 13 June 2018 German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said accounting methods for international trade are outdated and need to be revised. If services were included, the US would actually run a large surplus with Europe, she pointed out.
