Bipartisan Legislators Announce Deal To Avoid Another Government ShutdownDemocratic and Republican negotiators announced they had reached "an agreement in principle" on a new spending bill which would avoid another partial government shutdown on Monday night, according to Politico. But President Donald Trump will be the one who decides the fate of the potential border security compromise, though he was just about to give a rally in the Texas border city of El Paso on his demand for a border wall as the agreement was announced. "We reached an agreement in principle between us on all the homeland security and the other six bills," said Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL).
