Triad gangster attack in Hong Kong after night of violent protests - lawmaker
Monday, 22 July 2019 Hong Kong police on Monday defended their actions and the lack of arrests after opposition lawmakers said police had failed to protect a train full of anti-government protesters from a triad gangster attack on Sunday.
Hong Kong's opposition Democratic Party says an attack on passengers at a train station over the weekend was carried out by triad gangsters. Men in white shirts were caught on camera beating people returning home from anti-government protests earlier in the day. Michelle Hennessy reports.
