Won't sit idle till Masood Azhar is brought to justice: India's UN envoy
Sunday, 17 September 2017 India has said, it will not sit idle till Masood Azhar, the Chief of Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed, is brought to justice. India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Syed Akbaruddin said this at a press conference in New York in response to a question on India's effort towards terrorist designation of Azhar, which has repeatedly been blocked by China.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi sought the intervention of the international community into "India's crimes in Kashmir" as he addressed the UN General Assembly on Thursday (21 September). He also urged the UN Secretary-General to appoint a special envoy on Kashmir.
