Thursday, 7 December 2017 Disastrous wildfires have charred tens of thousands of acres in Southern California, leaving a path of destroyed homes and forcing thousands to evacuate on Wednesday, according to The Washington Post. Meteorologists are warning that a new round of Santa Ana winds on Wednesday night into Thursday could exacerbate the disaster since they have the potential to be as bad as the first few nights with gusts of up to 80 mph.
