PM Modi holds talks with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong
Wednesday, 14 November 2018 PM Modi began his two-day visit to Singapore on Wednesday by addressing the Fintech Festival, the world's largest event on financial technology. During his visit, Modi will attend the East Asia Summit and hold meetings with global leaders, including US Vice President Mike Pence.
According to Reuters, Premier Li Keqiang said that China will further open its economy in the face of rising protectionism. Li’s remarks came as Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong called for more regional integration, saying multilateralism was under threat from political pressures.
