After the Pulwama attack, India has been pushing for strong action by Pakistan and its "pre-emptive" air strikes on the Jaish camp at Balakot found broad global acceptance. A senior US state department official on Friday was quoted as saying, “Now we are focused on pressing Pakistan to take sustained, irreversible action on terrorist groups operating on its soil."
