Ex-IPS Sanjiv Bhatt sentenced to life imprisonment in 1990 custodial death case

Former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Gujarat court on Thursday in a custodial death case which dates back to 1990.

The Jamnagar Sessions Court charged Bhatt under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code which deals with punishment for murder.
